April 11,2025 – The press conference for the 2025 China Nanjing (International) Mineral, Gemstone & Fossil Expo was held today in Nanjing, under the theme "Minerals Shine in Jinling, Auspicious Vibes from the East."
The Expo is co-hosted by the ViewStone Association of China(VSAC), Nanjing University, and Jiangsu Cable Network. It receives special support from the China Mining Association and Chinese National Geography magazine, with additional support from the Jiangsu Geological Bureau and the School of Earth and Space Sciences at Peking University.
The event is organized by Jiangsu Jiangwen Exhibition Co., Ltd. and the Mineral Crystal Special Committee of VSAC, with special collaboration from the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Additionally, Dong Ting announced that Nanjing University will host the 24th IMA International Mineralogical Congress in August 2026—the largest and most prestigious academic event in the field of mineralogy worldwide.

2025 marks both the continuation of the Nanjing Mineral Expo's legacy and the 10th anniversary of Jiangsu Cable Network's listing. As one of the organizers of this year's expo, Zhuang Chuanwei, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Jiangsu Cable Network, delivered a speech reflecting on the success of the previous two editions. He emphasized that with the imminent opening of the 3rd Nanjing Mineral Expo, Jiangsu Cable Network will continue to enhance integrated communication efforts for the event, elevating promotional effectiveness to empower the expo and contribute "Mineral Expo Intelligence" to Jiangsu's high-quality development.
Furthermore, he expressed hope that the Mineral Expo platform would further unlock Nanjing's potential in "geological resources + cultural tourism economy", injecting new momentum into the city's sustainable economical growth.
