Mineral crystal special committee of  View Stone Association of China (VSAC)

Mineral crystal special committee of  View Stone Association of China (VSAC)(hereinafter referred to as the "special committee") was established in Nanjing on December 27, 2015. It is subordinate to View Stone Association of China. As a professional authority of mineral crystals in China, the special committee is dedicated to popularizing geological and mineral related knowledge and giving full play to the role of mineral crystals in the domain of science popularization, scientific research, viewing and cultural innovation.


Since its establishment, the special committee has led the following activities with the strong support from VSAC::

1.Conducted research on mineral crystals both domestically and internationally; collected, sorted, and analyzed relevant data, published  dynamic industry information through various media platforms, published multiple sets of professional journals and albums.

2. Cooperated with Peking University, Nanjing University, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), China University of mining and Technology (Beijing) and other academic institutions to perform professional research on mineral crystals, so as to provide technical support for the formulation of industrial policies and mineral crystal authentication standards.

3. Integrated domestic and foreign resources, cooperated closely with renowned museums and mineral companies around the world and built a platform for Chinese and foreign mineral crystal culture exchange, held various forums, activities and exhibitions. Have already successfully held three internationally forums and more than 100 various activities. Held special exhibition in association with Nanjing Museum, one of the top three museums in China.

4. Set up mineral crystal appreciation and evaluation institutions, vigorously promoted the formation of appraiser team and have held two consecutive training courses for mineral crystal appraisers. By 2020, a total of 120 trainees have obtained professional appraiser qualification certificates, which has greatly improved the overall appraisal standard of the industry.

5. Built an academician station in association with renowned universities and research institutes in China, cultivated professional research talents, jointly established a mineral crystal research institute with Nanjing University, and actively promoted the inclusion of mineral crystal aesthetics and mineral crystal application majors in the academic education system.

Presently, the director of the special committee is Mr. Pengzhaoyuan, visiting professor of the school of Earth Science and engineering of Nanjing University and a well-known mining industry expert. Our senior advisory group is composed of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, geologists and well-known collectors at home and abroad with  deputy directors, directors and members all over the world.


Jiangsu Jiangwen Exhibition Co., Ltd.,  is established in 2015, headquartered in Zhongdingshanzhuang on Zhongshanmen Avenue, Xuanwu District, Nanjing, adjacent to the scenic Zijin Mountain. It is a comprehensive enterprise that integrates exhibition design and implementation, science popularization, cultural and innovation development, and museum services.

The company operates the Jiangsu Mineral Culture Exchange Center, a 4,000-square-meter facility that serves as the base of the Mineral Crystal Special Committee of the VSAC. The center houses a collection of over 200,000 rare specimens, including mineral crystals, meteorites, and fossils worldwide.

The China Nanjing (International) Mineral, Gemstone & Fossil Expo organized by us has became the largest and most prestigious exhibition in the mineral crystal industry in China. Our company actively participates in attending top class international events such as the Tucson Gem Show in the U.S. and the Munich Show in Germany. In collaboration with international mineral restoration laboratories, We are also working on establishing the first mineral and fossil restoration laboratory in China.

As base of science popularization and education at both the provincial and municipal levels, Jiangwen have partnered with universities including Peking University and Nanjing University and created study-tour programs, curating public benefit activities such as the “Crystal Splendor” mineral-themed exhibition. In addition, our company has successfully hosted three consecutive China Nanjing (International) Mineral, Gemstone & Fossil Expo, contributing to the establishment of Nanjing as a “City of Museums.”
