The Organizing Committee of the Nanjing International Mineral Gemstone & Fossil Expo hosted international exchange dinner party in Tucson, deepening global cooperation within the mineral industry

On February 4th local time, the Organizing Committee of the China Nanjing (International) Mineral Gemstone & Fossil Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Nanjing show") and the team from Jiangsu Jiangwen Exhibition Co., Ltd. hosted an international exchange dinner party at the Mineral Garden in Tucson, USA. Numerous guests and exhibitors from the international mineralogical community, museum institutions, and the mineral, gemstone, and fossil sector were invited. The event facilitated exchange on the global dissemination of mineral culture, industry development trends, and cooperation on international exhibitions.

The atmosphere at the dinner party was warm and congenial. In his address, Mr Peng of the Jiangsu Jingcai Mineral & Fossil Cultural Research Institute expressed sincere gratitude to all the guests for their attendance. He systematically introduced the development history and exhibition philosophy of the Nanjing Show, as well as the phased achievements made in recent years regarding professional development and international cooperation. He highlighted the new development stage and future plans the expo has entered since obtaining UFI certification. Mr Peng also extended invitation to global peers in the mineral, gemstone, and fossil field, welcoming them to visit and engage in exchanges in Nanjing from May 14th to 18th, 2026.

Bryan Kent Lees of Collector’s Edge and Bryan Swoboda of Bluecap Productions each delivered speeches, expressing their gratitude to the Organizing Committee for the invitation. They spoke highly of the overall positioning, organizational standards, and internationalization progress of the Nanjing show, recognizing it as being in a continuously rising and vibrant stage of development. Bryan Swoboda also specially noted that this year coincides with the Year of the Horse in the traditional Chinese zodiac. In his view, the development momentum of the Nanjing Show is as steady and powerful as a galloping horse, advancing and leaping forward on the international mineral stage with an open and determined posture.

Hosting this dinner party in Tucson represents a significant initiative by the Nanjing Show to deepen communication and expand cooperation on a premier international industry platform. It also tangibly reflects the ongoing advancement of its internationalization strategy. Looking ahead to 2026, the Nanjing Show will leverage its UFI certification as a new starting point, aiming to further integrate global mineral, gemstone and fossil resources, strengthen connections with international exhibitors, academic institutions, and museum systems and continuously enhance the expo's professional standards and international influence. The goal is to strive to build a professional exhibition platform for mineral, gemstone and fossil with a global vision and industry leadership.
